Protect the calendar first
The students who thrive aren't the ones who study the most hours — they're the ones who never get surprised. Put every class, deadline, and project into the app the day you learn about it. A plan on paper beats a plan in your head every single time.
Study by output, not by time
"I studied for three hours" means nothing if you can't do the problems. Track your hours to spot neglected classes, but measure real learning by what you can produce: a worked problem, a summarized chapter, a practice question answered cold.
Start the big project on week one
The paper due in six weeks is won or lost in the first one. Break multi-week projects into small steps with their own dates, and the deadline that ruins everyone else becomes just another Tuesday for you.
